Dear Mr. Fanska:
Electronic Review for the Environment, Inc. has reviewed Public Notice for the site which extends to March 17, 2017. We viewed the Public Notice on the website of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Department of Environmental Quality and have the following comments:
1) The electronic notice indicates that documents can be viewed at the Mid-Continent Public Library in Blue Springs. That is not a convenient location to view the document for most members of the public. Please post the document onto your website for public viewing. Since approximately 60% of states' environmental programs make documents like this available for public viewing online, your program should also do that.
2) Please extend the Public Comment period for 30 or more days to allow time for you to post the document and post a notice that the document is available for viewing online.
